So what do people think of the Ewe pub for the Monday lessons?

Hi everyone!

I think the Ewe on Mondays will take us back to the day's of the original popularity at Don Pepe's. The last several month's since then have been a little unstable, with regards to venues & teacher's changing. Some of those things being out of anyone's control but hey! these things happen. Once a few of the teething problem's have been ironed out I think the Ewe will be here to stay giving all us salsa addicts what we crave for regular classes, social gatherings with friends & good music (I'm still working on it lol x)

The music on Monday 14 April was a bit iffy I thought - not enough salsa, too much of that rough-sounding and noisy, shapeless beach music... When it's clear that only two or three couples are dancing to a track while a dozen or more dancers are sitting it out then maybe the music should be changed quickly!

But that's just my view. What do others think?

A positive feature of this group has always been the dancing after class but the music has to be well thought about in advance, and geared to make people want to dance, if the smaller numbers we have these days are not to drift away to other venues.

I think there are certainly some dodgy CDs in the pile that come out of the speakers sounding very distorted. It happens every week. We should discard these discs or ask the owners to get a better hifi that can play them.
